PLNU Bakersfield is located in the culturally-rich San Joaquin Valley and is committed to serve Kern County and the surrounding area. The convenient location of the Bakersfield Center on California Avenue makes it easily accessible from all corners of Bakersfield and the surrounding area. Classes are held in state-of-the-art instructional facilities conducive to learning in a pleasant atmosphere.

We are pleased to extend Point Loma Nazarene University's tradition of academic excellence with a Christian heritage to the Bakersfield area. To meet the needs of this growing community and provide the preparation necessary to serve diverse needs, PLNU accepted the community's invitation to join the local effort in preparing teachers and administrators for the 21st century. Individuals in pursuit of intellectual growth, a knowledge and appreciation of cultural, social and personal spiritual development are provided with an opportunity to achieve their goals and meet their fullest potential in an atmosphere of vital Christianity.

PLNU Bakersfield offers programs for prospective teachers and administrators with plans for an even greater variety of programs based on the needs of the students and the community. Applications, registration materials, class schedules and other information is at the Student Services Center.
