Personal/Background Data


Dr. Strawn married Sharon Nyhus in 1962. They have two sons: Brad (married to Suzanne Gresham) and Brent (married to Holly Verner), and are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren. Brad (Ph.D. in Psychology) is on the faculty at Southern Nazarene University. Brent (Ph.D. in Old Testament) is on the faculty at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. David's hobbies include reading, music and doing stained glass projects for homes, businesses and churches.
