V. FACILITIES
| Classrooms | Parking | University Bookstore | Food Service |
A. CLASSROOMS
Most classrooms are equipped with basic technological aids. If furniture is rearranged for a particular presentation, it should be placed in its original location at the end of the period. Check with the department/school assistant if there are problems with classroom equipment or setups. Students should be encouraged not to bring food into the classrooms.
If you need other technological equipment, call Media Services.
B. PARKING
Any motor vehicle (faculty, staff, and students) operated on the Point Loma Nazarene University campus must be registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles and with the University Department of Public Safety.
All cars parked on the main campus must have a parking permit. The University assumes no responsibility for damage or theft while a vehicle is parked on campus. Faculty members are responsible for observing all parking and traffic regulations per the University vehicle code.
There is limited general reserved parking for faculty and staff near your classroom. As is typical of most universities, parking is at a premium. At peak hours, you should arrive early enough to walk from your parking spot to the classroom. Please stop by the Public Safety Office to receive a complimentary parking sticker.
C. UNIVERSITY BOOKSTORE
The bookstore is located in Nicholson Commons and carries a complete line of supplies, including all required/recommended textbooks and examination booklets. Department/school assistants may order supplies that are needed for classroom instruction. All faculty with ID cards receive a 10% discount on bookstore purchases.
