The need for and the use of adjunct personnel shall be determined by the college dean in consultation with the department chair/school dean.

Persons who are recommended for an adjunct teaching appointment shall be interviewed by the department chair/school dean and the college dean. Recommendations to the college dean should be accompanied by career resumes, academic transcripts, and a completed Faculty Employment Information Form (form is available in Provost's office).

The appointment of adjunct teaching personnel and the determination of their salary shall be conducted by the college dean.
