The Alumni Association of Pasadena/Point Loma Nazarene University, like all such associations, needs and deserves the full support of administration and faculty personnel. It sponsors Homecoming Weekend, with 50 events, in the fall and Senior Celebration during the Commencement season. The Association sponsors Teacher Development Awards for faculty research and new course development. It raises money for student scholarships, hosts alumni area events, presents alumni awards to honor individuals with outstanding achievements, and provides communication between alumni and the University. Faculty members are urged to take full advantage of all occasions to meet returning alumni and do all within their power to strengthen the ties between the Alumni Association and the University. The Director of the Alumni Association is responsible for the coordination of all alumni events.
