Accounting

Fermanian School of Business

Do you pour over months of invoices and receipts looking for that 12-cent discrepancy in your checkbook? Do you get satisfaction by collecting, organizing equating loads of numbers and data? Accounting is the backbone to any company’s financial information, whether it be a multi-million dollar conglomerate, or a one-man dry cleaning shop. Having competency in the area of accounting can mean ending the year in the red or in the black. If you are the kind of person that gets it right, no matter what, accounting is the major for you.

Overview

PLNU accounting majors are required to have a personal laptop computer or notebook. Specific hardware requirements are available at the Fermanian School of Business web site. Students begin with lower division courses in economics and accounting, as well as classes in management and computer science.
