School of Theology and Christian Ministry
The Bible is the most widely read and best-selling book of all time. Students who enjoy studying literature may want to major in biblical studies because of the wealth of literary elements present in scriptural text. Critical thinking, along with time-management and organizational skills are essential if you want to do well in this major. Studying the Bible will consist of exegesis (interpretation) of specific passages as well as analysis of the text’s spiritual implications for Christians today.
