The purposes of Preface, PLNU's Summer Reading Program, are multiple: you will be introduced to the history of the Church of the Nazarene and Point Loma Nazarene University; Preface will help you understand the current Mission and context of the University; you will be introduced to a culturally relevant book and encouraged to make linkages between its content and your understandings of PLNU.

The book chosen for 2006 is Donald Miller's Searching for God Knows What.
