Analysis : Although there is some variation in test scores depending on the major area of the students involved, the General Education Committee feels that students as a whole are learning mathematical problem-solving skills well. The Committee will remain alert, however, to patterns of scoring as we are able to gather data from a larger portion of the graduating senior class.

Analysis : The very small numbers of students in the bottom three of the categories used above makes trends particularly difficult to assess. At the moment, however, we are cautiously hopeful that those students who do their General Education requirement at PLNU are being better served than those who are doing their work elsewhere.
