Diversity Elements in New Faculty Seminar

New Faculty Seminar
Each fall, the new faculty members are provided three units of release time to participate in the New Faculty Seminar.  They meet every Monday afternoon to hear about and discuss issues related to what it means to be a university, what it means to be a part of PLNU, about students and about our Wesleyan tradition.  Two of the New Faculty Seminars focus on issues of diversity.  These are “Who are our Students?  Stereotypes and Statistics” and “Diversity Issues at Point Loma Nazarene University”.  In both of these presentations, panelists include faculty and staff.  The second presentation includes the entire Diversity Committee:  students, faculty, staff and alumni.
