Diversity in Wesleyan Center Initiatives
In the variety of conferences and symposia that the Wesleyan Center has put on, themes of diversity (gender, ethnic or international) have repeatedly occurred. What follow below is a sample of the conferences and events sponsored by the Wesleyan Center with the particularly relevant segments listed.
Wesleyan Center events are well attended by students and faculty as well as by individuals from the local community and from the academic community at large. While this is not an exhaustive list of the diversity-oriented sessions given at Wesleyan Conferences, it does indicate that women’s or minority issues are often included even in conferences that are not entirely devoted to diversity issues.
The Wesleyan Center did co-sponsor, with the Women’s Center, a conference on the place of women in the Christian, especially evangelical world.
