Philosophy/Theology and Christian Ministry Associates

Purpose

The purposes of the School of Theology and Christian Ministry
Associates are:
 

  • To provide prayer support for the department.

  • The networking of students with those in full-time ministry for
    encouragement and motivation.

  • Alumni volunteers to give their time in classroom sharing of their
    experience.

  • The raising of student scholarship funds.

  • The development of financial grants to support faculty professional development.

  •  The development and well-being of the School of Theology and
    Christen Ministry, including sponsored lectures by significant
    outside speakers, endowed chairs, the purchase of books and
    media equipment, and a future new building to house the
     department.    

  • To facilitate communication between the School of Theology and
     Christian Ministry and the 
                                         
President’s Corner

We are currently endeavoring to build our membership and our
organization.   If you would desire to become a member of the
associates, please e-mail me.  An annual dues of $25.00 is requested.
 We are also seeking members of our board of directors.  If you
 would wish to volunteer to serve please contact me.

Area Events & Projects
 

  •  Our current project is to raise funds to help send students to the
     annual orientation meeting at Nazarene Theological Seminary.  

  •  A second project is to continue to solicit contributions to the
     Frank C., Carver Scholarship Fund.  To date we have exceeded
     our initial goal of $15,000 and are working toward a $25,000
     goal.

  •  Contributions may be sent to the University Office of Planned
     Giving.  Be sure and designate your gifts for the School of
     Theology and Christian Ministry and the project that you intend to
     support.
