Criteria:

• Strong Christian testimony
• Significant and Outstanding accomplishments: professionally, academically or in service to a non profit organization
• An impact on the lives of others
• Received a degree from our institution

Anyone may nominate an alumnus for an alumni award. If you know of someone who should be recognized, please send a letter or email to our office addressing the above criteria and indicating whether the nomination is for the APL or DA award. That's all it takes to place the person in nomination.

If you can obtain a resume "on the sly," please do. Do not tell the nominee or any of their family members.

If you can tell us two other people who know the nominee well, please do. We'll do the "detective work" to obtain the resume and additional info but the more information you can provide, the better.

Selection will be completed in August and the award recipients contacted. The presentation of the Alumnus of Point Loma Awards will be during Homecoming Chapel. The presentation of the two Distinguished Achievement Awards will be on Homecoming Saturday, during the Main Event.
