In partnership with the local Armenian Relief and Development Association and the Church of the Nazarene a group traveled over a period of three weeks to Yerevan to build two houses, establish the affordable housing project. The group consisted of construction workers; business people; students from Point Loma Nazarene University, Baylor University, and University of Southern California; and faculty from PLNU and Baylor University. The goal for this project is to improve housing production while at the same time introducing new technology. This will provide sustainable growth through the creation of jobs, which will eventually lead to an increase in the overall standard of living. In the future, we hope for not only the building of these homes in Armenia but in many underdeveloped countries of the world.
