Camille Bugden received her B.F.A. from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and her M.A. in Communication Design with a Digital Concentration from Pratt Institute in New York City. Currently, she works as an adjunct faculty member at San Diego City College and Point Loma Nazarene University, in addition to co-owning a design studio with her husband in Del Mar, CA. Camille is also the Education Chairperson for the San Diego Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. She teaches Graphic Design and Web Design. Camille has over ten years of experience working as a graphic designer, art director and educator. Before moving to San Diego in 2006, she worked as an in-house designer for Penguin-Putnam Books for Young Readers, Marvel Comics and the VIACOM/Simon and Schuster imprints Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Books in New York City. Camille art directed the line-look of the noted Marvel Masterworks hard-cover graphic novel series. Two books that she designed for the children's series Dora the Explorer made the New York Times Best-Seller's list in 2005. She has also worked on the studio side as an art director and designer on accounts including Sony, Upperdeck Entertainment, The San Diego Chargers, and Barnes and Noble.
