As a Junior (2008)
Incredible season in which he posted an all-time PLNU low 71.66 over 38 rounds in 13 tournaments… NAIA Region II Champion and NAIA National Champion… at regionals shot 74-69-71 – 214… at nationals carded 69-70-71-70 - - 280… tied for first at Carlton Oaks Invite (72-73-74 - - 219) but lost a scorecard playoff… finished second in three other tournaments (Concordia Invite, CSU San Marcos Invite and PLNU / Smee Builders Invite)… low round was a 66 at Concordia Invite… shot below 70 on 10 occasions… early in the 2008-09 season carded a collegiate-tying round of 60 at the Grand Canyon Invite, only seven players have shot a 60… during the summer competed in two international events, the Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship and the World University Games in South Africa.
As a Sophomore (2007)
Moved atop the PLNU record books with an all-time best season average of 72.28… played in 11 tournaments and in 31.5 rounds… won or tied four events: the CBU Fall Region II Preview (2 rounds, 104), the CSUB/Elco Invitational (213), the Grand Canyon Thunderbird Invitational (206) and the Region II Championships (223)… second place finish at the NAIA National Championships, tallying a four-round 285… three different times carded a round of 67, including at nationals… score counted towards the team score in all but two of the 31.5 rounds he played… at or below par in 17 rounds… Region II Player of the Year, a NAIA first-team All-American and PLNU team MVP.
As a Freshman (2006)
A stellar start to his PLNU career, averaging 73.52 strokes per round, third all-time in the Sea Lion record books… played in 11 tournaments and 23 total rounds… tied for second at two tournaments, the CSUMB Otter Invitational and the NAIA Region II Championship… finished the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational in a tie for third, with his single-round season low 68, four under par… placed fourth at the Buzzini/Stanislaus Invitational, the final tournament of the regular season… took 11th at the NAIA National Tournament… earned first-team All-American honors as well as a second-team GSCC-Ping nod.
Prior to PLNU
Earned four varsity letters and numerous honors including 2005 MIL Player of the Year, 2005 Maui Interscholastic League Individual Champion (by 15 strokes), MIL 1st team All-Star... team won three MIL titles (2003, 04, 05)... president of Youth Alive (Christian Club)... also played football.
