Sanderson Named as Honorable Mention All-American

3/27 - Men's basketball senior point guard, Josh Sanderson earned an NAIA honorable mention selection. Sanderson averaged 14.6 points and 4.5 assists per game, while helping lead PLNU hoops to its first win at the national tournament in 50 years.

A former walk-on, Sanderson started every game since the beginning of his sophomore season (95 consecutive games) and was a key figure in the resurgence of a PLNU program that went 7-25 his freshman year.

Under his guidance PLNU went 61-34. He finished his career fifth all-time at PLNU in assists (454). Sixth all-time in steals (136), eighth in three-point percentage  (40.1 %). Josh consistently came through in the clutch for the Sea Lions throughout his career, such as his 23 point-performance in PLNU’s upset of eventual national runner-up Concordia last season.
