| We appreciate your interest in Point Loma Nazarene University and our NAIA women’s intercollegiate softball program. PLNU is placed beautifully on the coast of San Diego and has excellent academic, athletic and spiritual programs. The primary objective of our University is to emphasize spiritual, academic and athletic growth within a Christian community.
PLNU athletics are affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), where we compete in its most competitive conference. Past Golden State Athletic Conference teams have won eleven national championships and currently have teams ranked in the NAIA top 10 in all sports.
The POINT LOMA SOFTBALL game schedule includes competition against both NCAA and NAIA schools. |
|
27 PLNU players have been selected to the All-American team including shortstop Cheryl Schaefer who was twice named NAIA National Most Valuable Player. For two seasons she played for the Arizona Heat, professional fast-pitch league team. |
The future of POINT LOMA SOFTBALL is very bright.
The University has made a tremendous commitment to our sport. We have assembled a highly talented group of players who truly care for one another. We play at a very high competitive level in the most scenic ballpark in America. The goal of POINT LOMA SOFTBALL is to win our conference and to win the NAIA National Championship.
We would love to have you be a part of our future! |
