| 5/8 - PLNU coach Jerry Arvin sent a contingent of athletes to compete at the
Occidental Invitational Saturday. Some of his team were there to stay
ready for the NAIA National Championships later this month while others

Program Changes Announced by PLNU

| 3/1 - Softball facility challenges and Title
IX concerns have forced Point Loma Nazarene University to eliminate four of its
current athletic teams, athletics director Ethan Hamilton announced. Beginning with the 2010-11 academic year, the university
will no longer field teams for men’s golf, men’s cross country and track and
field, and women’ softball. The university will add women’s golf as an intercollegiate
