Split time at position but emerged as go-to setter over the course of the season... started all 33 matches... led PLNU with 821 assists... also had 321 digs, 33 total blocks, 106 kills and 21 aces... put up nine kills three times during the year... 17 digs versus Concordia on 10/7... posted 16 digs two times... 44 assists against both Azusa Pacific on 11/8 had five aces twice... excellent NAIA National Tournament resulted in a selection the the all-tournament team... best match was in an upset win against Vanguard on 12/5 when she registered five kills, 24 assists, 11 digs and five blocks... had 44 assists versus Black Hills State on 12/4.
As a Freshman (2007)
Got
into 86 games, playing in 27 matches with three starts… second on the team with
625 assists (7.27 per game)… had 217 digs with 26 kills, 15 aces and 19 blocks…
double figure assists 24 times and at least 10 digs on nine occasions… twice
reached 51 assists: 8/25 versus Albertson and 11/3 at Azusa Pacific, also
recorded 18 digs in same match at APU… season best seven kills on 9/11 at
Vanguard.
Prior
to PLNU
Played on four league championship teams at Chaparral HS in Temecula, CA… in
2003, Chaparral won the CIF Division I championship and placed third in 2004…
twice earned All-CIF, All-Southwestern League and All-Riverside County honors…
an excellent student who held at least a 4.0 GPA all four years, was a member
of the CIF All-Academic team, carrying a 4.6 GPA in 2004… other honors include
being the recipient of the Puma Athletic Scholar Award, being named the
Chaparral HS top Academic Athlete and the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce
Student of the Year… extra-curricular activities included being the president
of the Peer Leaders… an accomplished dancer she appeared in a professional
production of A Chorus Line.

of Ed and Lani with one sister, Katie… came to PLNU for the people, atmosphere
and chance for spiritual growth… an education major with plans to become a high
school English teacher.
