The program is administered by Dr. Don Burnard, Director. With more than 40 years of residence in the area, Dr. Burnard brings a background of educational service throughout the county. The faculty team is comprised of local teachers and administrators. Their careful selection is based on the merits of both their educational accomplishments and their Christian commitment. Being familiar with the unique demographics of the community, the staff is sensitive to the unique needs of a culturally rich geographic area and has a strong desire to see these needs met. They are available, ready and easily accessible to offer assistance and meet your individual needs.

The faculty and staff of PLNU Bakersfield are dedicated to the preparation of teachers and administrators and are committed to adequately meet the needs of the leaders of tomorrow. With a personal, caring approach, we are committed, through faith, to guide each individual student through the program. Students are valued, treated with respect as individuals, and provided with unlimited support.
