Time Out is a long standing spiritual tradition at PLNU, providing a weekly opportunity for the student body to gather for corporate worship. Through singing, testimony, biblical reflection, and teaching, Time Out gives students the chance to experience a more intimate setting than larger Chapel services. Held in the Rec Room from 9 to 10 PM on Wednesdays, Time Out is an excellent offering to hear fellow students, faculty, and staff share about their journeys of faith. Time Out is a partnership between the University Chaplain, ASB Spiritual Life, and Worship Ministries. Time Out is an approved option for Chapel credit. Please refer below to the stipulations regarding credit accumulation and attendance.
- There will be two Chapel Scanners available beginning at 8:50 through 10:05 PM to scan student ID cards for credited attendance. Students must scan in and out to receive credit for attendance.
- Combined with M-W-F Chapels, Time Out will give students 4 opportunities to gain the 3 weekly Chapel requirements.
- No more than 3 Chapel credits can be obtained in any one week.
