Guide Development Program

The Guide Development Program (GDP) is open to all PLNU students who are interested in any of the following areas:

  • Developing personal wilderness skill in backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, and other various areas
  • Sharing in fellowship with those of similar adveture interests
  • Buidling leadership skills through outdoor programs
  • Guiding Great Escapes trips
  • Professional certifications to work in the outdoor field
  • Exploring a career in camping minstries, outdoor recreation, experiential education, and liesure recreation.
