Dr. G.L. Forward, Professor of Organizational Communication, was asked to write one of the feature articles in the most recent issue of the alumni magazine The Viewpoint, volume 19, #3. The article, "Footsteps of faith: How parents influence adolescent spirituality: was one of three articles dealing with the millennial generation. This 1200 word summary was based on an original research paper co-authored by Dr. Forward and two recent MOCM grads, Katy Baumbach and David Hart. The authors conclude that "frequent, open, and honest communication about spirituality" matters more than parenting style or any specific behavior when it comes to imparting spiritual beliefs and values to millenials.
