After seven years as a Training and Development professional, C. Leilani Carver (MOCM’99) has decided to leave the corporate world for academia. Leilani is finishing her MA thesis and has been accepted into the Ph.D. program in Organizational Communication at the University of Kansas.

She will be the Assistant Basic Course Director at UK and was voted the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant this past year in her MA program. Leilani hopes to follow in her PLNU advisors footsteps, G.L. Forward and become an Organizational Communication professor.
