Alison Sansom and Jordanna Thomas recently returned from Denver, CO where they presented an original research paper at the Western States Communication Association Convention. The paper began as a COM465 project under the direction of Dr. G.L. Forward, the course professor. "Alison and Jordanna excelled in every aspect of the course and produced a first-rate paper that I was able to re-work and edit, and submit to the conference," said Forward. Feedback from the three anonymous reviews showed that the paper was ranked 14th out of 53 submissions. The paper entitled "College Students Communication, Religiosity and Family Satisfaction: The Importance of Opposite-sex Parent Relationships" was presented to the Interpersonal Communication Division of WSCA in February to a large conference audience.
