The 2006-07 PLNU cable Channel 3 station staff includes

• Owen Clemmons, Station Manager
• Steve Vredenburgh, Director of Field Production
•  Heidi Ortlip, News Director (Coastline News).

The station will be producing over six (6) hours of programming this year. The programs will air on PLNU’s closed-circuit cable channel 3 on the PLNU campus.

The station staff will be leading a group of about 40 students in the COM 425 and 225 TV Workshop classes in producing some ongoing and new television programs.
These include

• The Beat, a half-hour topical interview show;
•  Coastline News, a live news show; a new music program featuring PLNU bands and artists (program title TBA);
• A film review show (title TBA) that will include reviews of contemporary films and recent PLNU award-winning films and interviews with the student-producers.

The staff and students will also be working on the creation of a new talk/documentary series called Christians in Media, and the first two shows will feature two top Hollywood TV and film producers, Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic 4, and others), and Dean Batali (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, That ‘70’s Show, and others).

Student production teams have already interviewed these two producers, and will be editing, and adding program excerpts and graphics to complete the programs this year.
