Re-branding of the campus TV station- Channel 3- Your Channel.

PLNU’s Channel 3, has been re-branded. Formerly known as CCTV, the channel is now known as Channel 3: Your Channel.
Part of the re-branding of the station on campus is a new student managerial staff which runs the station. This staff includes Heather Michel, Station Manager, Mauricio Perez, Production Manager, Nikki Jimenez, Manager of Coastline News, Krystel Sayles, Director of Marketing and Promotions, and Michael Stollenwerk, Director of Programming and Traffic.
With the re-branding came new colors, new promotional give-aways to endorse the station, and new events like parties and film forums to get more students involved.
There are several main shows Channel 3 will be airing this semester including, The Beat, a interview show which covers topics that are important to students at PLNU; Coastline News, a live news that keeps students up-to-date on what is happening on and off campus; You Got Schooled, a game show bringing two teams of three Point Loma students from the class room to the studio to compete in numerous short games while winning prizes; La Vida Loma, a half-hour magazine show on the people, places and events of PLNU and San Diego; Christians in the Media, a documentary series where students talk with influential Christian producers, writers, executives and other television and film makers about what Hollywood life is like while striving to live a God-fearing life; Reel Students, a show that talks to the film makers here at PLNU about why they made the film, the inspiration they had and how the film all came together; In Cue, a show that focuses on what is happening behind the scenes of PLNU produced shows like The Beat and Coastline News.
