Duties/Responsibilities (300 Characters Max):

Job Summary - BaseballCritic.com is seeking baseball fans with writing or journalism skills to be game analysts using our Total Impact Baseball™ modeling tools. This role includes writing a weekly feature article. This internship will be fun, provide great experience, and requires little additional effort for existing baseball fans. Main duties - Watch San Diego Padre Major League baseball games on TV and log key game events using the Total Impact Baseball™ modeling tools. Analyzing the game using the tools is straightforward and requires that the analyst watch the entire game, log key events as prescribed by the tools, and enter the completed analysis to BaseballCritic.com. The next day the game’s analysis will be featured on the site and will include the name of the analyst. Analysts will be expected to watch one or two games per week, and scheduling is flexible. Additional duties - Supply feedback on the usability and features of the Total Impact Baseball™ models. Write brief game summaries – A chance to have some fun. Write feature articles and player profiles.

Qualifications (300 Characters Max):

A baseball fan that already likes to watch baseball games. Average to good computer skills. Dependable and flexible. Good written communication skills. A journalism student is a plus, but not mandatory. Access to a computer (PC), MicroSoft Excel, television, and email is required.
