Bumbleride Inc. designs, manufactures and distributes high quality baby strollers. We are a fast growing, young, design oriented company looking for a Public Relations/Marketing and Design Intern. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The right person will have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, detail oriented, creative and possess excellent communication skills. This position will work closely with both the Marketing/PR Department as well as Product Development. Responsibilities will include: • Research and maintenance of editorial calendars and media contacts • Assisting account manager with current public relations projects and initiatives • Writing, editing and proofreading press releases, website copy and targeted mailing campaigns • Market research and reporting to Product Development • Development and maintenance of design library. Desired Skills include: • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a plus • Background in art and design is a plus • Excellent writing skills and telephone presence; ability to respond and effectively communicate with both local and national media contacts • Ability to work independently and or as a team on various projects including Marketing, PR, and Product Development.
