Duties/Responsibilities (300 Characters Max): |
Hutchens PR is looking for an aggressive and motivated student or recent graduate to take part in a paid internship. This is a one semester, or 3-month position with the possibility of becoming hired as a full-time member of the team. The ideal intern will provide account support services under direct supervision of the Client Services Support Manager or other high-level supervisor, such as the Senior Associate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Providing instantaneous information using online news services and other resources • Collaborating in written materials including pitch letters, status reports, briefing books, biographies, memos, fact sheets, presentation materials and press releases • Market research, competitive analyses, and trend tracking by monitoring client and market news coverage • Developing presentations for the firm and our clients • Managing databases • Media Monitoring • Maintaining office files |

• Commitment to professional excellence • Imagination and problem solving • Commitment to professional growth and development • Superb planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities • Ability to work well in both team and independent environments • Accuracy in all work • Knowledge of the AP Style Book • Efficiency in word processing, database management and online research • Excellent written and verbal skills • Creativity in writing samples • Positive, flexible attitude that will lend itself to client service • Professionalism in work product, client interactions and general office environment • Major in Public Relations preferred. Other acceptable majors: Communications, Advertising, and Journalism • GPA 3.5 or above |
