Fall Themed Fun

  • Hay rides
  • FREE pumpkins from our pumpkin patch (one pumpkin per family or per child)

Activities for Families and Children

  • Climbing Wall

  • Pony Rides
  • Story time at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Puppet shows at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.

Food

  • "Taste of Bartell Hotels"
    • Presenting Sponsor for the Fall Festival, Bartell Hotels will offer, a sampling of menu items from Humphrey's, the Blue Wave, the Blue Pearl, and Point Loma Café.
  • An outdoor barbeque will be held on campus and food will be available for purchase for a modest price.
  • Visit the Point Break Café for coffee, pastries, smoothies, sandwiches and more!
  • The culmination of he Fall Festival will be the FREE President's Ice Cream Social with President Brower at 2 p.m. in the Greek Amphitheatre.

Art


The San Diego Watercolor Society will have a Plein Aire paint out on campus beginning at 9 a.m. For more information contact Julie Anderson at ejajca@sbcglobal.net


Music


Enjoy musical performances throughout the day from a variety of student and community groups, including the PLNU V.I.P. (Voices In Praise) Gospel Choir and the Point Loma High School Choir.







Tours


Historical Walking Tours at 10:30am and 1:30pm: PLNU's oceanfront campus is rich with history! Originally inhabited by Madame Tingley and the Theosophical Society at the end the 19th century, the property has changed hands over the years. This tour guide you through the history of the campus and highlight its historical buildings. The tour will be led by Richard Lareau and Bill Ferguson, architects of some of campus' more modern buildings.


Wellness Area


Chair and hand massages, a Karate demonstration, and Health and Wellness exhibitor booths.

Exhibitor Booths


Exhibitors from PLNU and around San Diego will be throughout campus with valuable information and giveaways. Community non-profits, health organizations, student groups and local government representatives will be in attendance. Visit the Exhibitor Booths to collect tickets for the prize drawings, to be held during the President’s Ice Cream Social!


Electronics Recycling


Drop off your old electronics in front of Draper Hall, just past the entrance to PLNU from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Click Here for More Details.
