Residential Life Announcements

*SUMMER RA
- Interested in serving as an RA this Summer? Applications are currently available in Residential Life and are due by 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 14th. Summer RAs earn $2000 for the summer and receive free housing. You are required to be available for move in and out (Weeks of May 12 and August 4). You're required to enroll for at least 2 units of summer school per session OR be employed part-time. Questions can be e-mailed to Bill Hunt (summer RD) at bhunt@pointloma.edu or call ext. 2749.

SPRING BREAK HOUSING INFORMATION - As a reminder, ALL residence halls (including Flex) will be closed over Spring Break. The residence halls will close at 12 noon on Saturday, March 1, 2008, and reopen on Sunday, March 9, 2008.

Students who need to stay in San Diego for all or part of the Spring break will need to make alternative housing arrangements with friends or family off campus. We strongly encourage you to begin making these arrangements now so that you will have a place to stay once the halls are closed. You will not be allowed to stay in your room over the break, and any student found in violation will be fined as well as asked to leave. (Athletes, student workers and credentialing students, please communicate any housing needs with your coach, supervisor or advisor.)

The Office of Residential Life realizes that there may be special circumstances that prevent a student from traveling home for the break (home is very far away, such as in another country, etc.). If you are having difficulties finding a place to stay, please talk with your RA, RD or the Office of Residential Life about alternate housing suggestions.
