STRESS RELIEVER:
Make a “To Do” list for good time management Carry a hand-size tablet of paper, 3x5 card or your PDA for “on the go” reminders.
Each evening:
- Write down daily tasks or accomplishments needed to be done.
- Include routine chores that may be “nagging you.”
- Write down promises made to other people (i.e. to get a phone number or photocopy lecture notes).
- List laundry, shopping, and other errands that need to be accomplished.
- Once a task is accomplished, mark it off your list.
- Discard the piece of paper or 3x5 card as soon as you are done, or delete items from your PDA.
Working from a daily list will help you remember to do things, and give you a sense of accomplishment each day.
