From The Director:

Throughout the year, the Fermanian Business Center hosts events for our undergraduate and graduate students that are designed to complement the academic programs of PLNU.These events are also designed to provide opportunities for ongoing networking, recruiting, and other business opportunities for members of the business community, alumni, faculty and other interested parties.

Our Professional Development Events are offered once per semester for undergraduates and graduates from all academic programs.  The event begins with dinner at our stunning Burnham Event Plaza overlooking the Pacific. Our students and guests then gather to discuss issues of mutual interest on a pre-selected topic.

Once per semester, our MBAs are treated to their own exclusive Executive Development Event, where the MBA and an invited guest of the MBA attend an intimate seated catered dinner hosted by the Faculty and Staff of the Fermanian School of Business. Senior Executives discuss with the MBAs topics of concern to those who aspire to executive leadership, and they share about their mutual experiences through years of business leadership.

We look forward to meeting you at the new Fermanian School of Business and Business Center!

"The personal boutique model that the FSB and FBC has adopted is a fantastic attribute to their students' education and careers.  Rather than flooding the market with resumes, business faculty and staff strategically arranges the introduction with key individuals that will optimize the students' opportunity to achieve the specific goals he/she is pursuing.  The FBC has developed an atmosphere that is conductive to intimate networking rather than impersonal shotgun exposure.  Through programs such as Professional Development Events, students will graduate with valuable footholds in whatever field they wish to pursue."

"I really enjoyed having the opportunity to utilize all of my resources in the FBC.  The staff are a great help and truly invest in the students they work with.  The Professional Development Events provide students with the perfect opportunity to network with business people and learn about areas of interest in the business world outside of the classroom.  They are a great tool which allow PLNU students to expand beyond the basic classroom experience."
