“The Economic Outlook – Will You Survive or Thrive?” was the topic discussed for the Summer Fermanian Executive Network Event. Speaking on the topic was Dr. Lynn Reaser Chief Economist advising the Fermanian School of Business at PLNU. Dr. Reaser is the Former Chief Economist Investment Strategies Group, Bank of America Vice President, NABE

Dr. Reaser discussed the current state of the economy from both a global and local perspective giving insight on the housing issue, stock market, and overall projections of the economy.

Forty-five business leaders, guests and faculty and students of the Fermanian School of Business gathered at the elegant Humphrey’s Restaurant on Shelter Island for a Friday luncheon. Hosted by the Fermanian Business Center staff of Randy Ataide, Cathy Gallagher and Courtney Urbano, the guests started with a pre-luncheon time of networking and then followed with a luncheon feast and welcome by Ms. Dana Irby, Sales Manager of Bartell Hotels. Ms. Irby shared the corporate philosophy and emphasis on quality shared by all seven premier San Diego area Bartell properties, and discussed some exciting plans for expansion and growth of the firm.
