Thank you for your interest in the Fermanian School of Business. I am glad you stopped by and I look forward to meeting you in person.
More Than the Bottom Line, Business Education to Change the World is more than just our motto. It represents who we are and what we strive to accomplish. Our core values of Academic Excellence, Integrated Values, and Active Engagement in both the undergraduate and graduate programs are captured in this phrase and are integrated throughout our programs.
You will find academic excellence at every level of the Fermanian School of Business. Excellence is the standard for scholarship and teaching for every member of our community. We are committed to bringing together the latest theories and the best practices.
It is our goal to have what we say we believe equal what we do. Therefore we strive to align values with action by being an intentional community that focuses upon the building of character with integrity. Christian values of ethics and integrity are integral to our program. They are a part of our DNA, who we have been for over 100 years.
The Fermanian School of Business actively engages with the business community in San Diego, the West, and the world. Our program provides networking events, internship and career opportunities, global outreach programs, entrepreneur and professional development programs, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We believe service is an expression of our faith and our discipline.
We have assembled an outstanding group of individuals, faculty and staff, to assist our stakeholders to improve and make an impact on the world. Our mission is "To Provide the World, Business Leaders who demonstrate Christ-like Character" and we take it very seriously. We strive to develop students who are successful in the world because of the quality of their education and the development of their character as a child of Christ.
We have been entrusted by the University, our friends, and the Lord, with a high-tech, state-of-the-art new building located on the south end of the campus overlooking the Pacific. We serve the Lord and seek to be good stewards of His grace to us and through us.
