Follow these steps to apply for Institutional Aid
- PLNU Application
You will need to fill out a PLNU Application for Financial Assistance to be considered for any institutional aid. Please refer to your programs forms section of the Web site.
- Academic Scholarships, Church Awards and Multiple Child Discounts
You will only need to complete a PLNU Application to be considered for these types of aid.
- Pastor's Child Discount and Missionary's Child Discount
If you are interested in renewing a Pastor's Child Discount or Missionary’s Child Discount, please complete and return the Renewal Application sent to you by Church Relations to receive this award. Forms can also be found at: http://www.pointloma.edu/PastoralLeadership/Church_Relations.htm. Please keep in mind that you will also need to complete the PLNU Application.
Tuition Remission
If you are interested in applying for Tuition Remission please complete and return the Application for Tuition Remission to the Office of Human Resources. Please keep in mind that you will also need to complete the PLNU Application.

Carlton L. Burlison Scholarship
Established by the Burlison family in memory of Carlton L. Burlison, M.D. The applicant must be enrolled in a graduate or "teaching credential" program at any Point Loma Nazarene University graduate location and meet all other eligibility criteria provided in the application.
Interested students must turn in the application to the Student Financial Services Office in Mission Valley. For further information, contact the Mission Valley Student Financial Services office at (619) 563-2845 or (619) 563-2849
Beryl and Hazel Dillman Christian School Teacher Scholarship
Established by Beryl Dillman in honor of his wife Hazel Dillman. Recipient can be teaching in a Christian school and/or completing a teaching credential. Recipient can be a graduate or undergraduate and shall meet the credential minimums. If you believe you are eligible, please contact the School of Education at (619) 563-2818.
William Jack Stone Scholarship Fund
Assists students who are actively pursuing the completion of graduate degrees in Education and demonstrate financial need.
