Cal Grant TCP

Cal Grant TCP is a two-semester extension of undergraduate Cal Grant benefits for students enrolled in a Teaching Credential Program (TCP).

Follow these steps to apply for Cal Grant TCP

PLNU Application
You will need to fill out a PLNU Application for Financial Assistance to be considered for aid. Please refer to your programs forms section of the Web site.

FAFSA PIN
Request a PIN from the U.S.Department of Education. Your individual PIN is used as your electronic signature on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid); therefore, it is required before filling out the FAFSA online.

FAFSA on the Web
After receiving your PIN, you are able to fill out the online version of the FAFSA. Please file your FAFSA as soon as possible to ensure timely processing of your financial aid package. One FAFSA must be filed for each school year attended.

Form G-44
The Request for Cal Grant Teaching Credential Program Benefits (Form G-44) must be
submitted to the California Student Aid Commission within 15 months of either exhausting undergraduate Cal Grant benefits or of receiving a B.A. or B.S. degree.
