Established by donors who wish to honor both professors. Students must be a major in Math/Computer Science or Physics.
Claude Routh Endowed Physics Scholarship
This scholarship is a legacy left by Claude Routh, a 1940 Pasadena
College honors graduate, for young physicists at Point Loma Nazarene
University and the science department closest to his heart. Recipients
must be physics majors with a demonstrable financial need.
Leland and Esther Smoot Scholarships
Endowed by Mrs. Leland Smoot in memory of her late husband and
former University trustee. Three funds have been established: (1)
scholarships for qualified students pursuing Nursing; (2) scholarships
for students in Biology or Chemistry; and (3) Physics, Mathematics, and
Computer Science scholarships for students in those fields.
William H. Trowbridge Educational Trust
Endowed by the estate of the late Mr. William Trowbridge to assist
worthy students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering.
