Joshua chose to be an RA because of the relationships that are created through the interaction he engages in with the guys. He believes the best part of PLNU is that you are free to be yourself and grow into who God created you to be, all while being taught some pretty amazing things. Joy chose to be an RA because she loves people; building relationships with, loving on, and encouraging others. The atmosphere at Point Loma provides the stability of a family while providing the freedom to learn and grow individually, as well as, independently. Joy was a transfer student and has enjoyed all aspects of the transitioning process. She looks forward to coming alongside fellow transfer students in encouragement and fellowship. Joy enjoys hangin' out at the box, paint balling, late night conversations, International travel adventures, and trying new San Diego food fare.

I chose to be an RA because I want to serve, support, and encourage the juniors and seniors of Goodwin Hall. Saint Theresa says, "May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you." Point Loma has given me so much throughout my past two years and I want to pass that on to Goodwin. The best things about Point Loma are the sunsets, quiet places to meet God, and the interaction between the staff and students. I enjoy making new friends and strengthening the relationships I already have, going to the beach, movies, and finding random things to do, that I have not already done! I am very excited for this coming year and am looking forward to having great events to build the Goodwin community.
