School of Education Teaching Credentials

The following are requirements for admission to the university:

  • A completed application for admission
  • $35.00 non-refundable matriculation fee
  • Official transcripts from each regionally accredited college attended pursuing and completing a bachelors degree
  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative undergraduate GPA or conditional admission requirements apply
  • Two completed recommendation forms from appropriate individuals who have knowledge of the applicant's character and professional performance
  • Appointment with appropriate faculty advisor to complete program plan sheet (contact specific university location of choice for assistance)

The following are requirements for eligibility to the School of Education's teaching credential programs (to be reviewed with advisor):

  • CBEST passing score report
  • Speech clearance (grade of C or better in an undergraduate speech course or advisor waiver)
  • Tuberculosis clearance
  • CTC Certificate of Clearance or other CTC credential
  • Teacher Education Interview
