Subject: I've got a job!

HPS faculty

I wanted to let you all know that I just received an email from the Executive Fellowship Program and the Office of the Governor letting me know that I have been accepted as one of the eighteen 2007-2008 Fellows!  I don't know all the details yet, I just opened my email and firgured that you should be some of the first to know.

I hope that your summers have started well, I have hit the ground running, having started work in Mayor Sanders' Office on Friday morning. I went straight into the first of many meetings that now consume my life, I have also successfully completed my first brief - I must say that it is strange to be relying so much more on internet sites as opposed to those library stacks!

Aside from my exciting life on the 11th floor of the City Administration Building which "has all the charm of a Communist-era politburo meeting." ( I can't footnote here but these were the words of Prof. Glenn Sparrow in the Charter Review Subcommittee meeting on Friday morning.) not much else is going one but I sincerely hope that you are doing well and I want to thank you all so much for your guidance and encouragement throughout my time at PLNU.

Thank you again,
Jill Monroe

My portfolio has been getting quite the workout, it never leaves my side, thank you!
