These central storage areas remain your best option for sharing and saving your most crisital documents. FIles stored on this service are backed up on a daily basis and rotated off-site on a weekly basis. Restoration of these files in an emergency is provided per approval from your supervisor and ITS.
Students Shared Drive (G) or Happy
The network disk drive designated "G" or Happy is network disk space for current PLNU students. The basic amount of drive space allotted to each student is 100MB. For additional space ITS recommends the purchase of an external hard disk or USB drive.
Staff/Faculty Shared Drive (U) or Data
The network disk drive/folder designated "U" or Data is network disk space for current PLNU staff and faculty. The basic amount of drive space allotted to each staff or faculty member is 1GB. For additional space ITS recommends the purchase of an external hard disk or USB drive.
Faculty Shared Drive (H) or Socrates
The network disk drive designated "H" or Socrates is network disk space for current PLNU faculty for departments that want to store and share files with people in their department. The basic amount of drive space allotted to each department is 1GB. Additional space is allocated on a as-needed basis and with supervisor and ITS approval.
