Obtaining copyright permission online is relatively quick and simple when using Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC). For many publications, permissions are pre-authorized and may be granted immediately; however, allow four to six weeks to accommodate those instances in which permissions are not pre-authorized and CCC must contact the copyright holder. Generally, copyright permission must be requested each semester you wish to use an item; the Ryan Library will suppress all e-reserve material at the close of each semester and will not restore it to public view until proof of current clearance is provided.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
Under certain conditions specified in the United States Copyright law (Title 17, United States Code) libraries and archives may be authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
