On Campus Calls

• Dial last four digits (Do not dial 849-)

Off campus calls

• For the 619 Area code dial 9-Number
• For the 858 area code dial 9-1-858-Number
• If you hear a series of rapid beeps, this will be a Local Toll Call.
  You will need to enter your Long Distance Code to place the call.
• Local Toll calls cost $0.06/minute.

Domestic Long Distance

• Dial 9-1-Area Code-Number.
• Enter your long distance code after you hear a series of rapid beeps.

International Long Distance

• Dial 9-011-Number. Enter your Long Distance Code after you hear a series of rapid beeps.

Toll Free Calls

• Dial 9-1-Number
• Toll Free calls have area codes: 800, 888, 877, or 866.
• There are no charges for Toll Free Calls

 Collect Calls

• You may place a collect call, but you may not receive collect calls. 
  If you receive a collect call you will be charged for the call plus a $10 penalty.
• Cial 9-1-800-COLLECT or 9-1-800-DIAL-ATT, and follow the service instructions.

Directory Assistance

• Dial 9-411 for Local Directory Assistance ($0.50 per call).
• Dial 9-1-Area Code-555-1212 for Long Distence Directory Assistance ($0.75 per call).
• Enter your Long Distance Code after you hear a series of rapid beeps.
