A telephone account has been established for you under your ID#. This account includes confidential information such as your long distance calling code (if you request one) along with your ID# and phone extension. To find your dorm room phone number log into the portal and choose Housing and Services Information on the Student tab.
WHAT IF YOUR ROOM OR PHONE INFORMATION IS INCORRECT?
IF YOUR HOUSING INFORMATION DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CORRECT ROOM OR PHONE NUMBER, our office did not receive complete information on your room assignment. This means that you will need to ask your Residential Director to update your information. Once your room number is corrected the phone number should be correct.
USING YOUR CONFIDENTIAL DATA:
New students should have received the Telecommunications flier with instructions for telephone usage in their NSO packets. Extra fliers are available from the Office of Telecommunications. Procedures for obtaining and using authorization codes as well as dialing instructions can be found here.
YOUR LONG DISTANCE CODE:
If you would like to place long distance calls from campus phones you will need to request a long distance code by coming in person to the Office of Telecommunications. Please bring your PLNU ID card. You will want to keep your 7-digit long distance authorization code confidential, since you are responsible and will be billed for any calls placed with this code. Please read the instructions and policies carefully and call x2555 if you have any questions. BY USING THE CODE TO PLACE LONG DISTANCE CALLS, YOU ARE ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT AND ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES EXPLAINED ON THIS WEBSITE.
YOUR MONTHLY PHONE BILL:
PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF OUR PAPERLESS BILLING. Your monthly telephone bill will not be mailed to you. Your telephone account will be billed each month for calls completed with your long distance code. You may view and print your bill and call detail in the Student tab of the portal by clicking the Telephone Bill option. The first page with payment coupon must be printed and must accompany all payments. Payments are to be submitted to the Cashier's Office.
