As funding permits, CJR faculty and interns conduct research projects that address particular needs of the poor in San Diego/Tijuana. Our specific focus is on the role communities of faith have in addressing these needs. Some of these needs include homelessness, lack of affordable housing, poor and low-wage working conditions, lack of access to health care, and discrimination against undocumented immigrants.
