The Center offers up to five upper division undergraduate and graduate students the chance to be involved as research assistants and community networking interns for the Center for Justice and Reconciliation. Students will be trained in social science field research techniques, ethnographic and statistical analysis, the interaction of social theory and theology, all in the context of research designed to improve life for those in poverty. Students will gain experience in a research project from “soup to nuts” and will be offered opportunities to present their research in multiple contexts (from community forums to academic conferences). Students will also learn the skills necessary to network for social change. For more information call (619) 849-2659 or e-mail cjr@pointloma.edu.
