· May 2005 - July 2006 Research coordinator and lab technician in exercise physiology research.
· September 2004 - May 2005 Research assistant for an exercise training study. The effects of high and low intensity exercise on abdominal visceral fat were investigated.

Biographical Information
Professor Sawyer enjoys Mt. biking, cycling, hiking, and surfing. He loves his wife Monique and loves spending time outdoors.
His experience includes two years working as an intern with the San Diego Chargers, research in exercise physiology, teaching athletic training courses at Cal State University Fresno, working as an athletic trainer at the secondary level in San Diego and Fresno, CA, and working as the associate athletic trainer for the Arena 2 football team the Central Valley Coyotes in Fresno, CA.
